We used YAF on our forum for www.tomecms.org. It's easy to setup, has a good set of features and the CSS and HTML are fairly good so it's easy to change the look and feel. We've used Instantforum in the past, and this seems to have pretty much everything we've come to rely on in that.

Pretty good, but has installation issues...the case is not consistent in the sql install scripts which causes major headaches on databases set up to care about case in identifiers... Had to change to 3 stars because the case issue makes things a bigger mess than I had originally realized. Even if the database is case-insensitive if the SQL Server instance is case-sensitive it makes a big mess.

Still a few smaller issues to work out, but overall a very good forum software for .Net 4.0. Some ASP.Net knowledge does not hurt if you are installing for the first time.
Developers react quickly and fix issues in the base software, and are also refining the software with every new changeset.
The YAF project Community Forum really helps regarding issues, problems, feature suggestions & such.

Opera does not support ClickOnce X
To install this application, save it and then open it. Opening it directly from Opera will not work correctly.
